The Lord came as a baby in a manger [Luke 2:7] but He grew up to become a King. [Luke 24:38] If we only look back to the beginning we are in danger of missing why He came and His glorious return. By only seeing the Lord on the cross and in a manger
is to place Him in a place of weakness. He came as a baby but He is returning on a mighty white horse swinging His sword left and right dividing good from evil. [Revelation 19:11-16] The mighty warrior is coming, He is returning for His elect not as a babe
in a manger but in glory where every knee will bow and declare Him Lord.
He came He saw He conquered, He conquered the past, the present and the future. He conquered death once and for all and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Yes He died for the sins of the world and this we should acknowledge, because we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. [Romans 3:23] To have a way to ask forgiveness when we have sinned is such release and beauty in itself. All through the Letters of the Bible it talks about the reward given through repentance and the future we can have in Him and Him alone. [John 14:6]
The Lord is returning for His Bride and we are still looking at the birth in a way that is blinding us to who the real Yeshua is. He
no longer lives in a manger but is getting ready at His Father’s house for the day He will return for His own. [John 14:2] The problem is His return has been camouflaged by the things of the world, things like tinsel, reindeer and a man in a coke advert
suit. We need to open our eyes to why we believe we are saved and saved from what. The answer to these questions is in the Word, we are saved to love God, [Matthew 22:37] to serve God [Hebrew 12:28] and to live with Him throughout eternity.[1 Thessalonians
5:10] We are saved from an eternity separated from Him forever which makes the Lord weep I am sure. [Ezekiel 33:11]
The greatest event in the history of Mankind is the fact that God sent Yeshua, who was sent to die in our place. [1 Corinthians 15:3] He came because He so loved the world, He came to die the death we deserved. [1 Peter 3:18] And die He did in great pain and agony and in humiliation. People jeered at Him and He was beaten and nailed naked to a cross for all to abuse and curse. [Luke 23:39] He then rose from the dead [Acts 2:24] to show death was not the end [Hebrews 2:14] and then He rose into heaven in full view of His followers, [Acts 1:9-11] to be at the right hand of the Father. [Acts 2:33] What a wonderful and magnificent event that was and which has vibrated down through history changing lives and even whole countries from their pagan ways ever since.
However there is another great and magnificent event still to come. It will come like a thief in the night [2 Peter 3:10] while people are carrying on with their lives as if there is no tomorrow. [Matthew 24:38] He will come in the night, He will come for His Bride but is His Bride living with the mind of Messiah? [1 Corinthians 2:16] Are we living as a Bride of the Messiah or as a bride of the world? Are our hearts soft in a way God can take them and mould them into God's way? [Ezekiel 44:9] Do we obey His Word or the words of the world? [2 Peter 2:2] Do we follow His ways or the ways of the world? [Psalm 111:3]
There is one coming on a mighty white Horse [Revelation 19:11] and all evil will flee at His appearance. [Revelation 19:11-16] The good shepherd will separate the goats from the sheep. [Matthew 25:32] Every Biblical year has a pattern that shows the plan of the Lord. The beginning starts at Passover and the end of the year is Tabernacles. The final ingathering of the Lord is coming and we need to be ready. So let not our vision of Him and what He is and what He will be in the future be blinded by bright lights, but keep watch for the Light of the World that is to return. [Matthew 25:13]
When He appears we will be changed in an instant [1 Corinthians 15:52] and all the problems of this world will be gone as we enter His presence and fall to our knees with people from every tribe, tongue and nation singing His praises. [Revelation 7:9] Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty, heaven and earth are full of Your glory. [Revelation 4:8] The glory of the Lord is to be so great there will be no need for the sun or the moon, [Revelation 22:5] the true and only means of true life will appear because He was at the beginning, [John 1:1-3] He will be at the end and holds the keys to all things. [Revelation 1:17-19] Is the end near? I don't know but what I do know, Yeshua said to keep watch and be ready for when that day arrives. [Matthew 24:43] The day He arrives on the clouds and we are called up to meet with Him, [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17] Ben David, the Mighty warrior, the Saviour of the World and we receive our promised salvation.
For He says: At the acceptable time I listened to you and on the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time of, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
